Change to membership fees
Despite this, we cannot avoid the fact that we, too, are facing rising costs. As a result, we have to adjust our membership fees from time to time.
For new members, this price change will apply from 1 July 2024. For current members, this will only apply from 1 September 2024.
For multi-year memberships, the discount of 10%, 20% or 30% will, of course, continue to apply to the new membership fees.
Would you like to change your membership or do you have a question? Please let us know via the contact form.
We would like everyone to have the opportunity to take part in sport with us. We are therefore working hard to join forces with local council initiatives that can offer support to anyone who is struggling financially.
Would you like to find out more about this? Then have a look at this page.

We will be closed from 22 July to 4 August, which means there will be no lessons during that period. In the other weeks, there will be a revised timetable. Please check here for details the agenda so that you can plan your training sessions properly.

Together, we are strong against cancer
Please support me in the fight against cancer.
Hello fellow athletes, I’m Michael Rademaker, one of the original members. Thanks to Taus Gym, I lead a healthy and active life. Whereas I used to find it a struggle to go to the gym, I now go to Taus Gym with great pleasure and motivation.
For me, taking part in this event has a deeply personal significance. The loss of my aunt to cancer and my mother’s diagnosis – which, thankfully, has been successfully treated – mean that this is a very real issue in my life. These experiences have strengthened my determination to help others in their fight against this disease.
By taking part in Swim & Dance to Fight Cancer, I want not only to do my bit to raise funds for cancer research, but also to inspire others to get active and fight for their health.
Together, we can ensure that more people have the chance of a successful treatment.
Together, we can make a difference.
COLUMN BY DIETITIAN MEREL COENDERS
Oral health
Good oral health prevents bad breath, cavities, tooth decay and gum problems. It also helps you to keep your teeth as you get older.
Tooth loss has an impact on dietary choices and quality of life.
As good oral health is important for everyone, in this newsletter I’m sharing a few practical tips that can help protect tooth enamel and prevent cavities.
– Choose to have three main meals every day
and up to 4 snacks.
– Limit your consumption of: fizzy drinks with or without sugar, lemonade with or without
sugar, fruit juices, sports drinks,
etc.
– If you do decide to have one of the drinks listed above, drink it all in one go.
Taking small sips over a longer period of time means that the tooth enamel does not have enough time to repair itself.
Then rinse your mouth with water.
.
– Drink these as soon as possible
or drink through a straw.
– Limit your sugar intake. Take a close look at the list of ingredients on products. Are there any that you might be consuming without realising it?
Has any sugar been added?
– Don’t brush your teeth too soon after a meal. This can damage your tooth enamel. Wait at least 30
minutes before you brush your teeth. If you’ve eaten or drunk anything acidic (e.g. orange juice), wait at least 60 minutes.
