It has exceeded our wildest expectations. And now, with even more energy, inspiration and enthusiasm, we are ready for the next level from Taus Gym!
Last Saturday was finally the big day. After months of behind-the-scenes preparation, we were able to officially throw open our doors! And what a party you all made of it! 😀
We were over the moon to be able to welcome members, friends, family and new visitors to Professor Romeinstraat 11a, our new home. There was a fantastic turnout and it was one big, cosy get-together.
It was great fun having a chat with everyone during the drop-in session, followed by the FIT workshop, which covered all four FIT training sessions. All the participants gave it their all for an hour and a half, and we’re proud to say that everyone completed the workshop. During the break, we were pleasantly surprised by the winner of the pull-up challenge, who managed to hang on for no less than 2 minutes and 23 seconds and therefore went home with a free 16kg kettlebell. The day concluded with an exclusive Krav Maga workshop led by none other than Tamir Gilad. The ‘Protect Your Family’ workshop (as the name suggests) focused on self-defence for yourself and, for example, your partner or children. It was an extremely interesting and informative workshop, attended by IKMF members from across the country. Meanwhile, our members Lotte van Hees and Martijn Akkerveen were on hand to talk to visitors at information stands on healthy eating, physiotherapy and injuries.
For us, the whole day was all about togetherness, positivity, a friendly atmosphere and responsible training that was full of fun!
We can do nothing but thank you all. Thank you to the IKMF, Tamir Gilad, all the visitors and, of course, all the TG members and staff who made this day possible.
