Outdoor training sessions
Summer = training outdoors!
With the nice weather on the way, we sometimes move our training sessions outdoors so we can enjoy exercising in the fresh air.
From July to September In both Tilburg and Breda, there is a chance that training sessions may take place outdoors. Whether the session actually takes place outdoors is decided by the instructor, so make sure you’re always well prepared:
👟 Bring both indoor and outdoor trainers
👕 Wear sportswear that’s suitable for both indoors and outdoors
Please note for members in Breda: During the summer holidays, the indoor sports centre will be closed on a number of dates. On these occasions, we’ll head outdoors for a vigorous training session:
- Thursday 10 July
- Monday 14 July
- Thursday 7 August
- Monday 11 August
On these days, there are no changing rooms or toilets available, so please come to training already changed and prepared.
Outdoor training sessions are cancelled in the event of bad weather. We’ll let you know in good time via our WhatsApp groups, so please keep an eye on these before you come to train.
Let’s make it a sporty and sunny summer together!
Change to membership fees
At Taus Gym, we believe it is important that everyone has the opportunity to work on their resilience, fitness and self-confidence – in a safe and motivating environment. That is why we have been committed for many years to keeping membership fees as affordable as possible.
However, we too are unable to avoid the fact that our costs continue to rise. These include higher rents, investments in new training equipment and the upkeep of our premises. To ensure we can continue to guarantee the quality of our classes, we will therefore be adjusting the membership fee from this summer onwards.
What’s changing?
The new rates will apply to new members from 1 July 2025
For existing members, the new rates will come into effect on 1 September 2025
Do you have a multi-year membership? If so, the 10%, 20% or 30% discount will still apply – even to the revised rate.
We want everyone to be able to continue taking part in sport. That is why we are actively exploring options through local authority schemes and other initiatives for people who are facing financial difficulties. On this page you’ll find the options.
Do you have any questions about this, or would you like to change your membership? Please let us know via the contact form.
Holiday timetable
This season, too, we will once again have a number of holiday periods and public holidays to contend with. The summer holidays are approaching, and during this period we will be operating on a different timetable to usual. Please therefore take note the agenda Keep an eye on things so you don’t run into any unexpected surprises.
Summer holidays: 5 July to 17 August 2025
Women-Only Krav Maga Course
This course focuses on situations that women, unfortunately, often encounter, such as harassment and unwanted attention. You will learn to stand your ground more confidently using effective self-defence techniques, as well as how to set boundaries through the use of your voice.
We understand that every participant has their own unique experiences and needs, which is why we make plenty of room for personalised attention. Our aim? To create an atmosphere in which every participant feels comfortable and, above all, safe.

You don’t need any experience in self-defence to take part in this course. What’s more, people of all fitness levels and ages are very welcome!
Would you like to find out what the course can do for you? Then come along for a free taster lesson on Monday 1 September or 8 September 2025 and please let us know via it contact form.
Over the course of nine sessions, we’ll work together to build your resilience and teach you valuable skills for everyday life.
The course itself will take place from 15 September to 17 November 2025. You must be aged 14 or over to take part.
